Maintaining the highest health and safety standards for a safe and healthy environment and following healthy practices in the classrooms are of prime importance to us at The Malvern School. Our schools are designed specifically to meet or exceed all local and national health and safety and fire regulations in a child care facility. All of our schools have secured entrances with an access control system that restricts entrance into the building. Additionally, we have video surveillance to monitor and control admittance into the building. Our staff receives specific training regarding the release of children to authorized guardians and non-guardians. Of course, parents of enrolled children have access to their child at any time and we welcome your visits.
In a school setting, following the highest health and safety standards, strict handwashing and sanitizing policies are the most effective way to prevent and reduce the spread of illnesses. At The Malvern School, we use a state-approved solution of bleach and water to sanitize toys and surfaces. Additionally, all of our schools receive daily after-hours cleaning service. Directors and the Health and Safety Coordinator monitor compliance of our health and safety policies and procedures.
In addition to on-going training for best practices in early childhood, The Malvern School provides First Aid, CPR, Emergency Evacuation and Fire Safety training to all staff members.
