The early childhood years are a very special time during which children are in the process of making significant developmental strides. At The Malvern School, we offer a learning environment in which children develop acceptance, respect, caring and encouragement for each other. The Malvern School early childhood education program curriculum exposes the children to science concepts, language development, multicultural activities, self-help skills, fine and gross motor skills, arts and crafts, and music and movement. We believe that learning is best facilitated in an environment that is challenging, hands-on, and of course fun!
The Malvern School has locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is committed to providing an early childhood education program based on the highest standards of excellence in Early Childhood Education. The curriculum is designed to meet the standards established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation’s largest early childhood accrediting organization. Since 1985, NAEYC has administered a voluntary accreditation system to help raise the quality of preschools, kindergartens and child care centers. NAEYC Accreditation is an intensive multi-year assessment process that includes an ongoing commitment to quality improvements. Programs that meet NAEYC’s standards of excellence provide an environment with a focus on health and safety, have teachers who are well trained, have access to excellent teaching materials, and work with curriculum that is appropriately challenging and developmentally sound. Our goal is to have all of The Malvern Schools in Pennsylvania and New Jersey achieve NAEYC accreditation.
